Diffrences in beaches

Something i noticed "I'm new to beach hunting" Is that there is a big difference between a beach that has local people. And a beach that has tourest. The locals do not wear jewelry to the beach. At least most of them anyway.

I have found that places near public parking areas tend to have more stuff in the water as opposed to those areas in front of big resorts or hotels. I believe that folks who come to the beaches in their vehicles tend to take their items with them to the water more often and folks that stay in nearby rooms tend to leave their expensive stuff inside their safes in the room. Just a thought but that is what I have noticed.

and 1 of my best days was at a small out of the way beach with condo's. 2- 18k rings one with diamonds,the finds are less but so are the people hunting these areas,I try an hit 1 place every month an see what turns up, it seems most people that wear rings pretty much keep them on 24-7,its the other stuff they take off most of the time, nice earrings, chains,watches........
