At the Diamond Mine, arrived Sunday.

So far I don't know if I have diamonds as we filled 37 buckets today, and washed 'em too. Tomorrow is sarucca day...I'm hopin for some serious bling:)

Anyway, here's a few pics of the screens Charles Newman made for me, the big Labor Day cookout at the Miners Camp, and the OLD Martin diamond plant (Howard Hughes was one of the investors).

Whew, I'm exhausted, but in the best way!!! AND a HUGE thank you to Bill-USA, if it weren't for him loaning me his laptop I wouldn'y have any connection...thanks Bill!!!!

That'll be three jewels at your place as a minimum! Congratulations. I look forward to seeing the photos and pray you have a safe trip the rest of the way home!

I hope this doesn't mean you won't be going back!

I cried, yelled, and perhaps even whooped when the diamonds were discovered.

When you find your first diamond it is registered at the park. Here's photos of the process as the park officials/staff weigh , examine and then photograph the diamond.

Also a pic of it as it was first discovered in the sarucca pile.

I drove eight hours yesterday and another 8 today...I'm whooped. BUT, but, but...I had to share the finds:)
