Could be Kryptonite! Do you feel weak when you're around it? :)

Lol no...but I feel a bit pissed off I keep pulling up rocks

Stop pulling up rocks, they'll never get a change to grow :laughing7:

Those hot rocks suck. I find the along the rivers and rr tracks. I can usually tell if they read high ie $1 or half dollar. If there is alot of them, you could try to discrim out the bigger coinage.

I've heard the term "Hot Rocks," what exactly are they?

Simply put, a rock with higher iron-mineralization than the surrounding soil. There are cold rocks as well which can fall into the pulltab/nickle range

Wow! glad I don't have any of them around here really. Nails and pull tabs are bad enough

manual ground balance can eliminate a lot of hot rocks but I don't think the Ace has that option.

I've tried manual GB on the At pro to avoid the hot rocks, but realized there's a risk in missing good targets. Depends on how concentrated these rocks are in a given area.

killerclown, there's really not much you can do except maybe discrim out $1 and half dollar if that's where they're reading.

Was a greatest hits album by the Stones many years ago. I had it on Vinyl
