Yesterday I took a ride down to the river.the Windsor Locks Canal runs 5 miles as well as a bike
path, canal on your left, river on your right. The Locks were completed in 1827,they used mules to drag the barges up river avoiding treacherous shallow rocks, don't know when they stopped using it
though.I spied this Popper next to a critter I'd rather not touch :laughing7: Today I got out by 5:45 to hit the High School to beat the heat, targets are starting to get further apart, got a couple bucks in clad, and this Charm, the size of a dime, looks as though it's been there a while.91 tomorrow!

GOD Bless

Chris

The first pic looks like a good spot to just sit back and relax. Heat tomorrow and storms for the next few days. Did Jason take the summer off?

Heard from him once since we all hunted this spring.

Doug.

I have plugs,lures,soft baits galore,rods from 41/2' to 10',haven't touched them since I got the M-6.

That is where I used to fish for Strippers, been pulled out of there over 50lb.

HHMM... Might be interesting to try and locate the site of the camp or camps were the workers who build all that stayed in the 1820's.

Nice eye ball score! Congrats!
I'm sure something would find the green fuzzy caterpillar delicious!
Looks like a beautiful place to relax!

Hot for the next few days and maybe a deluge on the weekend! We need the rain tho. I'll just bag me and the detector, unless there's lightning!
