I'VE BEEN HUNTIN THIS SPOT ON THE TENN. RIVER FOR THE PAST 5 WEEKS. THEY ARE SELLING TOP SOIL OFF OF IT. LOTS OF SHELL MIDDEN, THEY HAUED AWAY THE TOP BEFORE I FOUND IT, BUT I DID MANAGE TO FIND 3 DROPED GARDNER BULLITS, AN 1836 1/2 DIME, BONE HANDLE KNIFE, AND 2 BUTTONS

YES THEY ALL CAME FROM ABOUT 3/4 ACRE. MANY YEARS OF INDIAN OCCUPATION,CONTACT PERIOD - ARCHAIC THE DEEPER THEY DIG THE OLDER IT GETS. THERE WAS ALSO A YANKEE FORT ON THE OPPISIT BANK. ABOUT 3 YRS AGO I FOUND A 20# PARROT SHELL BASE ON THE BANK BELOW THIS SITE.

YOU SEE THAT BIG PILE OF DIRT? I ESTIMATE THERES 25 ARROWHEADS IN IT. ITS ABOUT 7 TANDOM LOADS, NO WAY TO SIFT IT ALL BEFORE ITS HAULED AWAY. DURN SHAME! IM TRYING TO FIGURE A WAY TO MAKE A POWER SIFTER FROM AN OLD 8 HP LAWNMOWER I HAVE. I'VE GOT PERMISSION TO DO WHAT I LIKE. JUST DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME, MAYBE IT WILL RAIN, THAT SEEMS TO SLOW THEM DOWN A BIT.
