Those are some nice tokens in there.

Wow you had a Roman Coin in the US.

The buckle looks a similar construction to some of the batwing type, adds to the evidence of 19th C horse related.

Do you remember where you found the Roman? Cool re-finds!

Great tokens! What is the buckle in the pic right above the cowboy? I found a similar one Saturday.

Awesome finds :icon_thumright: Congratulations :icon_thumleft:

There's nothing like Ma or Pa holding onto the early treasures to be found again :icon_thumright:.

No I don't, I could have found it when I was 5 or 6 years old. The only thing I know is that it was found in either IL. or WI.

It is an old army belt buckle I think. The date is pat. dec 8 1873.

Thanks for the interest everyone. There probably is a lot more hidden boxes of finds to be found if I'm lucky.

Great looking finds, even from over thirty years ago. :icon_thumright: Love the tokens.
Man, I wish my parents hadn't thrown out those old hockey cards that I had in the 60's & 70's! :'(

history hunter--can you give me the diameter of the Princeton, MI token? This is the first one of these I've seen and I'd like to add it to the list of known Michigan tokens.

It is 13/16 of an inch.

Great finds... Thanks for sharing, can't believe you held on to them for so long. Or at least your parents did ;D

The patented thing might be an old saw medallion.
Cool re-finds :icon_thumright:
