Distance of the normal "road trip"

On my normal road trip I seem to put on about 125 miles hitting as many small towns as I can. I stop at banks and credit unions on either side of the street as I drive by looking for halves either loose or rolled. I have about $1,000 in my pocket and rarely ever spend it all. Have found some really nice looking banks, but most never have what I'm looking for. How many miles is your normal road trip?

My normal road trips are also usually 120-150 miles long, but I have gone well over 200 miles before. Most of the time I spend less than $1,000 unless I find some full bags or boxes.

Right now I guess my "average" would be about 250 miles round trip, but that is only going to increase. I have pretty much been to every bank (many multiple times) within 50 miles of home. I now have to drive 50+ miles just to start my trip to hit "fresh" banks. Thats 100+ miles tacked on right there. My longest trip so far was about 350 miles.

Now with that said, I live in a VERY rural area. When I do a roadtrip, its usually an all day thing. I try to get to the first bank when they open in the morning and keep going until I run out of banks, time, or money. Someone in a more populated area could probably hit twice as many banks with much less distance traveled.
