A few of the Zodiac Divers headed out for a camping trip on an Island close to some wrecks we have been diving. Not much turned up on the dives but what was interesting is where we were camped. Within minutes of unloading our gear ZDJ finds a small religious medallion stuck in some tar on a rock. Then he finds a small flint for a flint lock pistol. As we start to look around we find old glass, pottery and clay pipe pieces all over the place. We found one copper nail 1 inch long and lots of square nails and other old items.
Me thinks I have some detecting to do at this spot. :laughing7:
Sorry about the pic of the flint and medallion it's a little blurry.

looks like a great time

Should be worth looking a little harder. Could have been a popular camp site, or a stop for fishermen. Or it was populated at sometime. Or it is wreckage that floated to shore. Either way. check it all out.

Hi ZZD, neat finds and probably more to come from there! Hey just wondering if you got the PM with my address regarding TAR / WOOD? Jake with LAND - SEA
