DNR Aerial Maps

Try this site for some great research maps from the DNR. Little cumbersome to use at first, but eventually you'll figure it out.
I used these to locate where an old Barn and Cabin were located on My property. So far only lots of old bottles and trash but.......... you never know!!

I have just looked at this and it looks to be invaluable for even lake dives for recreational scuba or undewater hunting. shows the terrain of the water. VERY nice link. Thank you!

Another site that may be helpful is here. <http://www.historicmapworks.com/Browse/United_States/Minnesota/> It contains a huge amount of plat book maps from the 1800's to the present. One should be able to find where old roads and river crossings were as well as old town sites.
