Detector(s) used
Minelab Explorer II
Two days ago I found golden chain by eye. Today this silver ring also by eye. Why I need the detector? ;D

Don't know. The ground is still frozen here in Illinois.

Hey, if it wasn't for dumb luck, some of us wouldn't have any at all!

Nice find, Oh by the way, I find arrowheads all the time while metal detecting. You can't find them with a detector ::)

HH, with or without a detector, Ringfinder

Very nice finds. Good eyes!!!!

Great find, eyeballing, I find coins laying on the ground sometimes before I even pass my coil over them
Good luck when you are able to dig,

Eddy

cool ring!!

when md'ing if you SEE a coin before your detector, does it count?? ;D

Human vs. Machine... and fikys you're giving them a run for their money!

Yes, you need the detector even if you never dig (never dig, yeah right :D) You walk along, swinging your detector, your eyes being directed by the motion. You are bound to see surface finds. They "count as finds" just as much as those you dig for. You wouldn't have found them without the detector, even if the darn thing was turned off (yeah right, hunt with a dead detector :D).

Good looking eye-ball find! Thanks for sharing and Happy Hunting.....Night Stalker.
