Does anyone know any spots around long island that might be of intrest?

im looking around everywhere but it seems everywhere i go to ask permission from anyone i get shut down right away, its getting very frustrating. if anyone has any advice or any hotspots they would like to share i would soooo greatly appreciate it.

smiths point is a county park. is it illegal to hunt? just dont go west on the beach i was always told.
