They are 60+ year old wooden somethings. You're calling them vessels so I assume they're hollow and probably designed to hold liquid? As traveller777 said, pics of tops and bottoms may help.

A little background would also help if you have any. Thanks!

EDIT TO ADD:

Actually, more pictures, in better lighting/focus all around would help. I can't make out what is displayed on them. Especially the one on the left.

Here are additional pictures. I don't really know much about them other than they were originally my grandmother's who was born in 1902. I do not know when she acquired them but I would guess before the 1960s.

To me they look like bamboo and not turned wood and the lady on the one looks to be a Japanese Geisha maybe.
