Hi Everybody,
I currently use a tinytech and a wizard for pinpointing probes. Both work fine on nice sunny days. However, I do a lot of detecting on rainy days, windy days, and also during the winter. These probes do not work well and sometimes not at all during these weather conditions. I have been thinking about getting a vibra probe because it is waterproof, but does it work well at below freezing temperatures, or in strong winds? If not, are there any other waterproof handheld pinpointing probes on the market that do?
I also have the same problem with my GrayGhost headphones in the wind
and at below freezing temps. They are OK in the rain. The headphones that came with my XLT work fine in the wind and cold but are not nearly as comfortable. Does anyone know if Timberwolfs work at near zero temps or in strong winds? If not, any other brand you can recommend?
My husband needs some ideas for a Birthday present that he knows I will like AND use. He has already given me my XLT, my Eagle Spectrum, and
my Surfmaster so I think I should go a little easy on him this year.
Thanks a million, Maggie Macpoe
