Hi guys,
found this tag in a central part of the town I live in. It is the size of the standard dog tags we get here today. The odd part is only the number nine is on the tag. I have a 1922 dog tag and it is more ornate, with a dog engraved. The tag is non magnetic and i would guess brass or bronze from the oxidation and vdi was low penny. Any ideas what this might be? Any help is appreciated.
