Sandhill Cranes fly to New Mexico for the winter and fly back to places like Nebraska in the early spring.
They started flying back already. Too soon.
I know they don't get weather reports but this is a bit of a puzzle. It's been like mid spring here with no participation for months. I actually miss no snow.
Can we use signs in nature to predict future weather trends. Like the Farmers Almanac?
