Double Edwardian silver day

Well, my Deus headphones are sent away for repair. Warranty is expired, but the bad headphone is a known issue so it’s getting repaired for free which is most excellent.

I fired up the old ATPro (which I haven’t used since spring of 2014) and headed to my new field. I found a very crusty Buff, and amazingly I can read the date which is 1917. I was going to ask if anybody had any idea on the middle copper, but when I was loading up the pics I noticed a flat spot on the edge of the coin. Duh, probably an electrical box slug lol.

I’m having a pretty good year for finding the little silver 5 cent fishscales, and these two Eddies made my day.

The ATPro certainly did well, I forgot what a good machine it is. It’s just so heavy compared to the Deus. I’m wiped!

Nice coin finds. I agree that quite a number of folks give the AT Pro crap and while it does have its flaws, some of my best finds have been with that machine.

The ATPro is great value for the money, and it’s so simple to operate. Does well in iron and goes deep too! I made some of my best finds with it as well.

Glad your headphones are getting fixed for free. Great job on the coins Ive found some knockouts myself that hillarious well not at the time but looking back. I gotta say the At Pro Ive found tons of gold and Silver with it proof is in the finds not the minds lol Good post

I have never found a fish scale. They look really cool. I use the ATPro mostly for water hunting and it has found a ton of goodies. When set up right I have found tiny silver and gold earring backs and delicate gold earrings 4 or 5 inches down in the sand. For the money it’s a hard machine to beat. Keel swingin.
