Hey folks!
Decided to play hooky for the second half of the workday and get some R&R time in. Glad I did.
First off, I got out for a little before nightfall yesterday. Nothing too Earth shattering but the 925 silver earring from Mexico is pretty cool. Also found 5 wheats and 2 tax tokens.

I was looking to pick up the pace today so I decided to change locations. It was slow going early on but probably an hour into the day I popped my first Rosie of the year.

Apart from clad that site was mostly a bust but I did have a really fun find on my way out.
I got a 12.43 at 3 inches (copper memorial all day) and was interested to see a spill in the hole. Not only that but it was a wheatie spill with what looks like the remaining cloth from an old coin purse! Looks like the 5 wheats ranging from 29 to the early 40s.

Kept soldiering on and at my second site of the day the wheats really picked up. I ended up with 16 for the day.

I also found another Rosie which was unexpected. It was a faint signal around 6 inches.
Here are the two rosies.

Here’s today’s group pic including some sort of horseman toy.

I’m hoping to sneak out for a bit Sunday so hopefully I’ll have more to report then.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting all.
