Down and go up links broken on iPad.

The links labelled down and go up that are available for long threads don't work correctly on the iPad. They take you where you want to go. But then they disable scrolling. For example, if I use the down link to take me to the bottom of the page, I can't manually scroll back up. There is some sort of JavaScript that keeps forcing me back to the bottom of the screen every time I try to scroll back up.
