Idk what that lead would be from but lead scrap is at like $0.92/lb. Start yourself a lead pile and toss in those chunks and fishing weights you're bound to come across.


EDIT: Incidentally, I happen to know that Brown Bess musket bores used 0.71" caliber balls. Get yourself some calipers and measure that musket ball's diameter.
