Dr. Otek MT-XR

Has anyone on here tried the Dr. Otek MT-XR? If so, is it a good detector? I've seen some good reviews on Amazon but not sure if they are bogus or not.

lo0ks like great for a Child.
Looks like it's Good for finding Coins in the Air in Plastic Bags & Laying on top of the Ground



What is the Price ? $100.??

Yeah, $100. I've been looking at a new machine. Been leaning towards the Teknetics Delta 4000.

You'd be better off buying a lower end machine from a major manufacturer.

Yep. For a Beginner to see if you like the Hobby, It would probably be a decent way to go.

But a 2nd. Detector / Upgrade Stick to the Name Brands !

I would consider the Dr. Otek a Disposable even with the Warranty.
as I'm sure the Majority of them Last a Year
