Hey folks, got a question for you. I'm headed south next week and will have some time to do some beach detecting. This is a very historic area, but the area I'll have access to has been subjected to heavy dredging and sand/beach replacement due to erosion. The dredging and sand came from the same area, right off the beach, and was pumped onto the area where I'll be hunting. Here's my question:
Isn't it likely, if not at least possible, that this type of activity could actually bring up additional relics and deposit them on the beach - much in the same way a hurricane or storm can do, or is this just wishful thinking on my part?
Thanks for any advice/tips!
