I found this drilled tooth at a shell bed on the Sabine River. Can anyone identify what kind of tooth it is? It's about 2 inches long. Thanks

Nice drilled bear tooth. Great find!!

Not big enough to be a Bears Tooth. More than likely a Dog, Wolfe, or Coyote Tooth. Nice find.

Nice drilled canine...

2 inches?.....plenty big enough....small bear! is kinda small however...these are wolf teeth,

I still think it's too small for a Bear and it the wrong type for a Bears Tooth. The root and enamel are both wrong. I have several Bears Teeth and they are all 2 1/2+ inches long with a lot more girth to them.

Here are some small Canines and some Bears Teeth.

In the first pic the bigger Teeth are all Bears Teeth and the smallest one is right at 2 1/2 inches long.

The middle pic is all smaller Canines and the middle one is a Wolf Tooth that is just over 2 inches long.

The last pic is two large Bears Teeth. The one to the left is almost 4 inches long and would have been a big Bear. I've been told it's a Grizzley Tooth.
