Drop In Friend

Of course it's okay
that you just dropped by,
We'll have a great time
you and I

But don't be offended
if I can't sit and chat,
could you please get the scooper
and clean up after my cat?

How about some coffee
in a minute or two?
shall I do the dishes,
or leave them for you?

Go ahead and sit down
Yes, right over there
just fold all that laundry and
you should see a chair.

Use the bathroom?
well of course, go on in
After you finish
could you scrub the basin?

Don't mind the bed
on your way by it
I haven't had time to make it
but feel free to do it.

Could you please shake these rugs
out the back door?
I'll fix us some lunch while you mop the floor.

Say what? You have to leave so soon?
I was hoping you could vacuum.

Good bye then and drop by again soon,
I'll look forward to it.
If you don't want to clean,
Call first - and I'll do it

I hope you enjoy, please let me know

I love it too!! Thanks for sharing.

she has plenty more just like it. she's a little unsure about her work, so I thought I'd bounce it off you folks

I would enjoy reading more of her work! Drop In Friend, hits the mark for me! I'd like to print it out and frame it on my front door but, Mr. Pepper won't let me. :dontknow: :angel12:

I think it's terrific!

And how I wish I'd had something along those lines to use on a "friend" that would drop in and expect to be entertained, wined, dined, and waited on hand and foot (now "former" friend, thank goodness).

It might be a cool song, too

I hope she keeps on writing!

(jokingly) My grandmother used to say...
"Come after breakfast,
bring your own lunch,"
and leave before suppertime :)

Drop In Friend. Very Good. Hit the nail on the head for a lot of folks.

I enjoyed it.

Intend to pass it on.....

Please share some more....

I like the way your grandma thinks! :D

I'm glad to help thanks for asking.
Getting the chores done sooner gets us out playing that much quicker.
