Detector(s) used
Garrett AT Pro
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I seem to have hit one. I've only been out a couple hours with my new AT, but I've found next to nothing. I gave it a go in a local park (pre-50's), an adjacent field, and another park I hadn't tried yet.

Found two coins (one a 66 and the other 2006). Found a ton of scrap metal... some that was scattered like it had been part of an explosion... but nothing worth showing.

With the weather calming down now I'm ready to start doing more private property.

Anyone else in my boat?

Everyone I know has been in that boat numerous times. My $0.02 is that it always takes a while to get comfortable with a new detector. When I went from my 1st detector (f2) to the at-pro I was overwhelmed. But I stuck with it and did well once I learned its peculiarities. Good luck in may!!

poor, cold weather has slowed me down but after a cpl. short and productionless hunts I stopped after a doctors apt. at a large common
in town and to my surprise started getting hits// I skipped anything below 79 and dug 6 quarters, 4 dimes and 3 pennies in about 30 min.
As soon as it warms up I plan to cover it in detail/// fun to get out and get hits// Perry

Talk about dry spells.....watch my next video (should be live this evening, look for this thumbnail) as it is going to touch on this very thing.
