Dug it out of the cave. What is it?

It is made of sandstone and is about 7 inches long. It came from an area of the cave were I found lots of bone(animal)deer mostly. Thanks for your input. Dealer told me natural formation.

Although highly unusual in shape and pretty cool looking I would also guess that it's a natural formation.

Second pic down looks like the 'Concretions' we find in
this area, (natural sandstone formations), they are all
different patterns where the softer rock has eroded away, &
leaving the harder ridges.

I agree with the others that it is a natural concretion but there is an early archaic item called a shaft wrench that was usually made from bone. It had a hole in it and a wooden shaft was heated and passed through it, by twisting it against the wood pressure could be exerted and as the wood cooled it would remain in that position. Your item could be used as such, just one side of the loop is open. Check the inside of the loop for wear or abrasion marks, these people were very resourceful and not above using something natural to accomplish their goal.

The one with the hole in it looks like it could have been used more as an abrader. Passing a shaft through it back and forth would knock off any high spots or knots and true it up.
Some atlatl shafts were 8 feet long and they were really concentric, look at the fine banner stones and weights that are drilled to slip on them. By the way, the objects you are finding
are associated with Banner stones, so keep digging.
