Heya there howlow...

can you give any information about the area you found this? Is there any historical significance to the place or did you find in in some random field or park?

For example... a horse stable, a rev. war site, a Civ.war site... a victorian house yard, or a 1970s strip mall parking lot... ?

I found the buckle in a field, its brass and is about 1 1/2 long, and an inch wide. Also found this rather close to the buckle.

That other object - if I'm not mistaken, is identified as a tent/tarp gope guy... someone camped there.

You buckle really looks like a horse halter buckle... depending on the size.
