Dukes Creek Falls

My family and I visited Dukes Creek Falls near Helen, GA a few weeks ago for some sight seeing. This was before I started researching gold prospecting. Looking at the gold belt maps it appears that it would include that area, but I did not see any posts on here regarding that area. Can you pan there? Any luck there?

I guess the same question goes for Anna Ruby Falls, Raven Cliffs Falls & Desoto Falls, all nearby.

Yes you can pan Duke's Creek but not at the falls. Talk to the rangers and they will tell you where you can pan. You can pan on all the rivers and streams in Georgia as long as all you use is a hand trowel. You cannot take a shovel up on a bank and dig holes etc.
