Man...didn't want that one to end, but sadly it did. 402 wheats, demolishing my previous high of 27. Was AMAZING to go through, I was just giggling the entire time. Oddly though, all but 1 were 1940 or newer, so hoping there's another bag with 1939 and older in it just waiting (REALLY hope its the other one I picked up with this one. Final breakdown was:

Year P D S Total
1919 1 0 0 1
40 9 1 1 11
41 15 2 1 18
42 9 4 0 13
44 27 16 0 43
45 26 8 0 34
46 18 16 0 34
47 0 8 1 9
48 1 5 0 6
49 0 3 1 4
50 4 5 0 9
51 1 18 0 19
52 0 22 0 22
53 2 18 0 20
54 0 14 0 14
55 0 20 0 20
56 4 44 0 48
57 1 40 0 41
58 0 36 0 36
TOTAL 402

Was VERY happy to pull the 1949S, still hoping for my first 1954S though, only one I'm missing out of that book. Still have plenty of the pre-40's to fill though. Definitely re-invigorated though. Happy hunting everyone!

Congratualtions on the big wheat score! :occasion14:

Wow! Nice job. Congrats

Rosco: a very good mix of Wheaties you found there, congrats. Maybe the next bag will get you down into the 30-20-10-09. This one way surely exciting & fun I'll bet.

All is lost. You're an incurable CRHer now. Congrats on the big score. Your posts and pics are awesome. Keep it up!

Oh, reached that point when I pulled an indian head my first go. I dream about this stuff now. #MayNeedALife #BringSpareChangeToMyIntervention

Rosco: if by the end of the year you don't find that 1954-S, let me know, I'm sure that I have several cuz way way back in the 60's & 70's, my dad & I were making it a habit to pull all the "S" mint cents after 1939, so I'm sure I have several. But, at the rate your going, your folder should be complete by then, then it's a case of saving in the folder only THE BEST OF THE BEST. The most elusive coin I could not find enough of back then was the 1955-S.

Any day you start seeing double digits in a single date is a good day indeed, never mind triples. Congrats!
