So I went to dump a box of pennies today. It was taking forever. Find out she had to change the bag. Now is it proper to ask if there was anything caught on the magnet? I already have an idea I'm turning into the coin guy at the CU. I only drop a box at a time of whatever I just hunted. But I just don't want to look bad is all.

All you can do is ask. I would ask something like this, "What do you do with the junk that gets stuck to the magnet?" Some banks' policies are to just toss everything off the magnet into the trash, but will give it to anyone that asks. Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose.

I'll ask next time to see what happens. Probably won't have a bag change, but will definitely ask.
