Dunkley's early 20C Fob Watch

Hi all,

I have this "Dunkley's" Fob watch my mother gave me. She bought it at a garage sale. It says "1914" on the inside casing, and "Dunkley's. 315-317 Bourke Street, Melbourne. Swiss Made." on the clock face. Any info would be great.

Cheers.

Re: Dunkley's early 20C Fob Watch

....NICE VINTAGE POCKET WATCH.....not sure why you called it a watch fob watch??

Re: Dunkley's early 20C Fob Watch

Thanks mate, so its a pocket watch not a fob watch. A good start to identifying it i suppose...

Re: Dunkley's early 20C Fob Watch

....I like the old pocket watches.....reminds me of the conductor on one of the old RR's checking the time on his old RR pocket watch....although yours is Not a RR watch....still very Nice.....to be clear....a watch fob is usually a metallic item attached to the watch via a gold or silver chain...most of the time the watch fob is advertising something.......to get educated go to FeeBay and type in Vintage Pocket Watch ....later type in Vintage Watch Fob.....look at all of the various designs and shapes and all of the different styles and types of pocket watches......
