Hi everyone!! Man was I glad I was able to get out today!! Headed out this morning for some all day hunting with Treasure Fiend, D-Dub, and Lookin' 4 Seated. About an hour after arriving, I dug a nice '45 Washington at about 4 inches (my first silver for 2011, and only my 3rd silver Washington ever)!! I also found a '44 wheatie, and, RIGHT ON THE SURFACE, my first buffalo nickel!! It's a nice '36
. Other finds included a fired bullet, a metal billfold (not silver though
), and more crown tops than I think I ever dug hunting with my Ace
. It's unfortunate that the clips inside the metal billfold were badly corroded and crumbled as soon as I opened it for cleaning (along with the latch mechanism darn it). Todays clad totaled a mere $0.78 (2 quarters, 2 dimes, and 8 cents (3 copper and 5 zinc)) . Pics below. Enjoy!! Oh, and a HUGE thank you to D-Dub and L4S for their help w/ the E-Trac settings!!
