E-TRAC VS VX3

I was set on buying an e-trac because from what I here the v3i has bit more learning involved.. I happened to stumble on a good deal for a vx3 so I took it... Can this machine hang with the e-trac and did I make a good decision? Thank you.

I traded in my e-trac for a vx3 last fall and couldn't be happier.

all ways have a frequency switch
so you can underhandedly hunt right around the person as he digs.
