Eagle help???

This is a little smaller than a penny. Notice the wing tips almost go over the edge. The back is smooth, might not be a button?

Thats a mid 19th Cent style Federal Eagle.....dont know but I like it!!!

It does not appear to be a button or collar disc? I knew it was pre 1900. Hope to get an ID.

Any signs of something having broken off the back? Small enough that it seems like it could have been a decorative pin, like something one would pin on the shoulder of a jacket/coat, or wear on a lapel.
