Gman im the same way. I have dug up so much union stuff in my time that foe once my confederate finds are actually starting to catch up

I'm the other way, my Yankee stuff is catching up with my confederate stuff, buttons of any kind in my area are very hard to find.

I used to find so many union buttons i.would get sick of finding them. But its gotten to.the point where im only finding pieces of confederate buttons. So it really stinks

I'm sorry bro, that really does stink. I found 3 Yankee buttons at the same place that were rotted to pieces. If I found a confederate button in pieces I would be sick , keep it up maybe one will be nice, of the 9 confederate buttons I've found only 1 was not smashed or dented.
