Early Father's Day Gift

Did my usual bank run, on my day off, yesterday. Go to my 4 pick-up banks. I get 3 boxes of halves from 2 different banks. Also get what ever CWR's that are available. I get home and open the boxes, to check for enders and staring back are 2 Bens, in 2 different boxes, from 2 different banks. No numbers on the boxes. Wonder if they came from the same lot from the same armored car company. These banks are 15 miles apart and are 2 different named financial institutions. Call it superstition, but I always do the CWR's first. Dimes produced one silver. The first nickel roll had a 1945 S war. Got to go to work. Will finish the CWR's tonight, then tear into the halves. Will open the box w/o an ender first, knowing I at least have something in the other two. Will let you know.

Awesome so far! At least you already know that you're gonna be pretty happy no matter what the rest of the box holds. Least I would be. That's funny that you mentioned that "superstition" of yours. Mine is the exact opposite. My CWR are always my last to open and I do it that way religiously! I guess it's because that's where I've had the most luck. I hope all three boxes end up being overrun with 90%ers!

Nice finds Poor Mans Gold. Personally, I would imagine that they coins come from the same source since they are delivered within the same area.

But there are different companies.

The following is what was found out of my three boxes; (4) Walking Liberty 2-1941, 1942D and 1946S,
(13) Franklin 1951, 2-1954D, 1956, 1957D, 1962, 1962D, 4-1963 and 2-1963D,
(41) 90% Kennedy’s,
(1) 2005 S Proof (silver)
(17) 40% Kennedy’s and
(1) 1982 P Kennedy (No FG).
Also found a gold plated 2003 P, 10 cents worth of gold, so I kept it. Not a bad weekend. Hopefully next weeks boxes will be just as good. Have some pictures, ASA my IT son shows me how to load them onto the site, I'll post them.

Is that 58x90% with no 40%? Wish I had those results.

Oops didn't read the fine print hahaha great boxes.

Not a bad way to kick off a search. Best of luck to you!

Got the pictures posted. The first three pictures show the results of the last twenty rolls out of box three. What I did, if I saw silver I put it to the side. If you look close at the first picture, the stack to the far right shows seven silver. The third picture shows what came out of just those twenty rolls. The last picture shows the totals of the three boxes. From left to right - 1982, no FG, gold plated Kennedy, 17 40%ers, 41 90% Kennedys, the silver Proof, 12 Bens and 4 Walking Liberty's.
