Early morning Beach hunt

I only had 2 hrs so I hit a public beach that was close to parking. I had checked the beach Web cam yesterday and it was packed so I figured that would be a good spot. To my surprise there was already 5 other hunters already at it. I decided if I was gonna find anything I better hunt in all metal and dig it all. More trash than treasure but still fun. I do have one question, who brings a BB to the beach? It was a challenge to find a single BB in the sand.

Just getting out is sometimes all you need! On the good side your detector isn't going to miss much.

Install a magnet in your scoop. If you think dry sand is challenging, try chasing a Bobby pin around in chest deep water.

I'll bet you had a hard time trapping that BB in your sand scoop.
