Those are great finds. You think there is a wreck close by?

Hey Toasted, do you have a detector that is waterproof, or is it just the coil? I’m VERY interested in getting one that I can use in and around the water, but I do not want to be limited to JUST the water.

My Minelab Equinox 600 at $649 is waterproof, works well in saltwater and on dry land and is impossible to beat for the money imo

Have you upgraded coils or anything like that? If I’m going to get into this, I’m going to do it right…I’m sure I’m going to love this stuff!

No stock coil is the best imo

You have helped me a great deal…was looking at minelab and Garrett detectors…I think the minelab is the better value

Took advantage of the lower than usual low tide again today to hit my best stretch of shoreline over the years. Slim pickings but I did get a few early buttons circa 1700. Further down the shoreline I got the 1853 dime very near to were I found my only capped bust half dime a few years ago
Very nice finds! Keep it up!

Those are some really old finds, especially for a beach. That Seated held up real well. Congrats!

Not an ocean beach but rather a brackish riverbank. Ive found dozens of Spanish and seated in this general area.
