Today i hit the hardwoods. Everywhere is getting so overgrown with all the rain weve had here in WV. I went out into the woods less than a mile from my house and pulled some cool finds in less than 2.5 hrs. My first find was a **** CW 3 ring, the 2nd ive found on the property. My next interesting find is the pendant or whatever it is. Then came the indian head, year 1889. A short walk and i found a piece to a flintlock. I belive it to be a "frizzen" from the fireing mechanism. Then to finish the day i found this small iron ring, maybe not a real ring but my 2.5 year old thinks its pretty cool

Congrats on a really good hunt.
A frizzen is hard to come by.
