"Ecology" Day
Today, At the 4-h camp we have 30 children here studying Ecology and basic Tree identification. The kids will be staying the night and hopefully take a little lesson of the Appalacian's with them. Pictured below is A Juvenile "Eastern Newt" Notophthalmus viridescens. Say that 3 times fast! An Adult would turn green in color. Did you know? That there are more species of Salamanders in the Appalacian mountains than anywhere in the World? Yep!
