Ed-D's 2014 Notable Finds

I'd say it was a good year seeing how I could only hunt 9 of the 12 months...

15 Gold Rings including 5 Class rings

23 Silver Jewelry Items:
  • 17 Silver Rings
  • 3 Silver Religious medallions
  • 2 Silver Bracelets
  • 1 Necklace with Silver Cross and clasp

25 Silver coins, including:
  • 1917 French 50 Centime
  • Canadian silver quarter

7 Buffalo Nickels
2 V Nickels

143 wheat pennies

1904 World's Fair Key Fob
1936 Texas Centennial Commemorative Badge
Fort Worth Electric Railroad Transit Token
2 Great Seal Army buttons
A cool old Dr. Pepper bottle

1954 Mexican Cinco Centavos coin
A Japanese Yen coin

and finally $86.65 in Clad

Note: I corrected the count of silver coins. I wasn't aware that only certain Ike dollars were silver.

Wow, that's alot of gold in relation to silver :)

Sorry to tell you this, but your Ike dollar is not silver, it is just clad that has not corroded much making it look like silver, only some proof "S" mint Ike dollars were composed of silver. The Texas medal is very cool too. Overall, Incredible year, A LOT of gold and silver, good luck in 2015!

Thanks coinman for pointing that out, I wasn't aware of that detail. I adjusted the count.
