Re: Coinstar find

I do the same thing! lol

Re: Coinstar find

I agree - keep on checking. I hadn't found anything at my local coinstar machine in weeks, then Friday the reject bin was full. Nothing old, but I got $8.03.

Dang!! I need to be doing that too! It makes me feel weird when people see me poking around in the refund cup though.....I need to get over that! ::)

Good job!

Re: Coinstar find

Thats cool, I got a SLQ at a Costco snack bar last year.

Re: Coinstar find

Ok Coinstar experts - fill me in. I just now figured out what a coinstar machine is (had to google it ???). You mean people go up and use these and actually leave change in the bin?

Re: Coinstar find

Please fill me in on the coinstar craze. Where is the reject bin on the machine. I always look where you drop the coins into. Never find anything. Where is the reject bin? Where are all the old coins at in these things. I have one at my local wal mart.

I found a euro in the coin machine at the bank the other day, worth the strange looks I guess.

Re: Coinstar find

Why people pay 9% to 11% to have a machine count and cash in their coinage AMAZES me. I guess times are good, eh?

Re: Coinstar find

I think I'll start looking too.....sounds fun......I'm in then.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting,

Re: Coinstar find

there are two differant lknds a grate dump area type with the rejected coin slot on the front --and a black topped spinner lid kind --lift the lid to see the coins it did not "accept"
