Emeralds and UV Light

Greetings Old Hands:

To follow up on my previous post... a couple of questions regarding the flourescing of emeralds under UV light:

1. Do they flouresce under water?
2. Do they flouresce under salt water?
3. Are there any sources for "industrial grade" high intensity UV light (including the strobe variety if any)?

What I read is it's the additives that produce the florescence. I know sapphires mostly do not, but a few have a red glow.
