Empire state worlds tallest building

Cool old ahh I'm not sure what it is that says "Empire State worlds tallest" and another what looks like maybe a makeup case lid or something but they both have some age.

It was the worlds tallest building from 1931-1973 so there's your time frame. I'm betting it's from the 30's or 40's.

More pics of the inside. Also it came up 81 on my AT pro not too sure what metal it is. It's too small for cigarettes. Stamps or matches maybe. I almost think it could have been for makeup or something. I looked on Google and can't find a match.
