The crash site has a marker which is on private property. Another memorial marker is located near Matfield Green, KS. off of the 335 turnpike between Wichita and Emporia, KS. This marker is only a few miles from the crash site.

Ahh, I knew that place at. I lived in Emporia when I was a kid. It is on very private rancher, who have own a large thousand acres as many families history own the land in the past. It is long way to walk to the site! There is a big stone with names and bare fence around. Many parts from the plane and any small personal things still in the ground. Only few group of former ND football team or any special people groups can visit there with four wheel cart or trucks. I don't think that public people can visit the site....because, there are tall grass, rattlesnakes, many little rocks on the hills, hard to drive on the hill, like bump a lot, etc.
