The bugle mouth piece and the Chinese coin is a first for me. If anyone could help with anymore info on either it would be appreciated. All the stuff w/ the mouthpiece was dug on the 30th the other group was dug on the 31st. The brass thing is another mystery item. I thought maybe a weight of some sort but it says 30 and weighs 42 grams. The 30 is engraved into it.

I would say that if they are firsts for you then the chinese cash coin would be from the "Cha Ching" dynasty :tongue3: Nice stuff right there, congrats. jgas

The Chinese coin dates from 1736-1795. Unfortunately, you have the half that does not have the mint mark on the opposite side. I think the one large object is probably a mouthpiece for a brass instrument, i.e. trumpet, baritone, etc. Looks also like you have a lead seal of some sort. The round object with the number on, I don't know. Good hunt.

Thanks everyone for the help

Very nice finds DirtyMike :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

I think the 30 thing is a bung plug from a keg of something .
