Error or Trash?

I found this penny in a pretty bad penny box I'm going through. Pretty sure it's nothing special but it looks cool. . Maybe a unplated? Just weighed it, weighs the same as another 85 D.

You really have to be more specific. It looks like a normal 1985 D cent.

My bad, it looked unplated to me but there are traces of copper on the rims.

Sometimes the background the picture is taken on makes the color look different. Chances are some chemical was spilled on it that removed the plating.
