Estate Sale Find

[BFR]

I found this at an estate sale for $5.00 And thought it would be fun to re finish it. It is a Belsaw knife and saw blade sharpener from the 1960's.

It looks a whole lot better refinished.

Nice find and nice refinish job!

I received one years ago from my Wife's Grandpa's garage, I always thought it was a grinder/sander of some sort, never knew it was a blade sharpener, but it makes sense. My wife's grandpa was a carpenter and cut his own meats et al and had quite a few blades he wanted to keep sharp, so it makes sense. I don't have all those gauges and dials, nor the oiler, but AI do have that swing arm to the right, and the plunge grinder on the right, and the articulating surface to the left.
