Etching?...

I posted this under the Antique section here but since it doesn't get a lot of activity, thought I'd try here...I bought this a few months ago at a church sale..I don't know if it's a etching or what ....I can't really make out the artists name.....but I tried different variations of what I thought it is and came up empty...any help would be appreciated..thanks

Yes, or a lithograph.

Do a search on James Knox House. It's apparently a popular place in Edinborough.
I didn't look to find the importance of it.

There was a "chandler" who did some art or that subject., I couldn't find "A. Chandler" though and the signatures don't match up either.

Go figure. Keep researching.

looks like "Chanler" not "Chandler"....just my 2 cents
 

It is an etching. You can see where the plate pushed into the paper. I did a search for A. Chanler and nothing came up. It might sell on Ebay.
