Just to mix things up a bit I was thinking that every one could post the most Abstract location you ever found Gold.

I found a nugget at the quarter car wash
I picked one out of the road way

Gold is where you find it so lets here your stories of where you spotted the yellow metal.

I found the medallion in my icon next to a tree they planted 4 years ago right along the circle they dug planting it!!!! 3 inches down!!!

coming back down to the lower 48 waiting for my flight in Fairbanks AK , stepped outside to have a cig looked down an on the curb in a lil bit of snow slush an thought no way that cant be, bend down picked it up an sure enough got almost a 3 gram nuggett
