even a bad day

.....can turn into something to show for it. A return trip to a site that has a lot of things going for it didn't quite result in all the promise it held as far as I was concerned. But in the end days like that are few and that's what gets us out there everytime.

Hit an old acadian site on the way home and finished the day with a small handfull of keepers, other than a few buttons, all I ended with was this

sportsmans button, 1799 1/2d ,small(childs?) thimble,bent up period ring, another worn smooth French billion coin and, another good piece of a buckle that I was finding at the first site

hey, I've done worse

Well IronHorse I've had lots worse days, and I do like your finds. Old coins and relics regardless of condition are interesting to see and preserve. BTW, where is "Dirtyville"?
